Rainbow Williams was an artist living in Winter Park, Florida (near Orlando), when she began visiting the Pagoda regularly. She became a paying, monthly supporter. She donated the $600 required to be eligible to buy a Pagoda cottage, moving there to live in the downstairs duplex, which she bought in 1982. She later bought another cottage that she kept until 2013.
