Marilyn Mesh

Marilyn Mesh: What matters now: I am almost 75 years old; Iâve worked all my life until last year in public schools, feminist womenâs health centers, and the public health, non-profit world. I was an organic farmer for a time, and the time on the land, growing food and negotiating our lives grew me in valuable ways. I am a lover of womyn, dogs, my home, alternative Judaism, Gainesville (Florida), and our community. I used to write poetry more. I hope to get back to âdoing artâ in a totally eclectic, colorful, non-realistic way. The increase in unkindness, lack of civility, and the right-wing distresses me. I hope the younger ones coming along can turn this around.
I appreciate the work that others have done on the Southern Lesbian Feminist Activist Herstory Project. Thanks for documenting our lives.
