LauRose Felicity
LauRose Felicity is a sex-positive, elder, femme writer and artist. She recently moved to Ashland, Oregon, and she lives in a herstoric lesbian cabin and land space. It is the home of a 40-year-long writer’s group including the likes of Bethroot Gwynn, Tee Corinne, Lee Lynch, Helen Lawrence, Tangrine Alexander (prior owner of her house), and scores of other talented lesbian writers. It is also the continuing site of the weaving of the WeâMoon Calendar, hosting a diverse array of women who select the best of our writings and art to populate this gorgeous desk book. The land is also part of the network of Southern Oregon women’s land spaces, studied by folks around the world as a womb of women’s culture for decades.
LauRose Felicity is completing the cards and text of the set called “The Tarot, The Bible of Witchcraft Reborn.” She has a prospective publisher to get it published in 2022. She founded the Oregon Lesbian Herstory Archive and museum at her home, Rosewood: The Portal. She is striving to have her home listed on the National Historic Register as a place of important, lesbian-feminist resistance.
