Charlene Ball
Charlene Ball is a former academic in English and women’s studies. She wrote the award-winning novel Dark Lady: A Novel of Emilia Bassano Lanier, and is working on a second historical novel. She and her wife, Libby Ware, have coauthored three murder mysteries under the pen name Lily Charles. Murder at the Estate Sale, the first in the “Molly and Emma, Booksellers” mystery series, came out in 2020, and the second in the series, Murder at the Book Fair, is to be published in 2023. Charlene Ball and Libby Ware are currently working on the third book in the series, Murder at the Literary Festival. They live in Atlanta, where they sell antiquarian books.
